When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Severino Peli put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gavino Luke. 30 minutes into the match, Mateo Gaitan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavino Luke. Gaviotas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mateo Gaitan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Los Hijos de Doña Beija's Severino Peli in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gavino Luke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute Domingo Quinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Chumo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marciano Arotza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Gavino Luke made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Ortle in the 95th minute of play forced Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Joaquin Chumo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Los Hijos de Doña Beija players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
