After 2 played minutes Guns And Roses got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Ihintza. Cristo Domenec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor Sarmento, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 9 minutes of play, Guns And Roses's Epifanio Oier made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerônimo Campidelis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victorino Ihintza's shot from long distance in the 12th minute was not bad at all, but Corinthians's Jerônimo Campidelis knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After 13 minutes of play Guns And Roses's Joaquin Claus was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Corinthians booed when Guns And Roses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Claus didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Corinthians getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Tomás Munhoz hit a great ball. Alvaro Iigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristo Domenec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan do Valle in the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Tomás Munhoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corinthians's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Munhoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristo Domenec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor Sarmento in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Corinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Maties came free, but Jerônimo Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alvaro Iigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristo Domenec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víktor Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 played minutes Guns And Roses got a freekick which was hit by Astor Garaona. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Víktor Sarmento put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cristo Domenec. 38 minutes into the game, Nicolas Eder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guns And Roses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corinthians the free kick. After 38 played minutes Guns And Roses got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Eder. In the 41st minute, Nicolas Eder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Epifanio Oier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guns And Roses's Cristo Domenec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Munhoz in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Iigo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Alvaro Iigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerônimo Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Corinthians's Víktor Sarmento in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cristo Domenec was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Corinthians's zone, Alvaro Iigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerônimo Campidelis came out of the goal and Alvaro Iigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Guns And Roses's Alonzo Arixo got a free kick in the 89th minute. A collision led to Guns And Roses getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Alonzo Arixo hit a great ball. In the 91st minute of the match Faustão Motta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristo Domenec skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustão Motta got free with Cristo Domenec in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Corinthians walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
