The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to AFC PunisherS™ getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Manole Miclauș hit a great ball. Dorel Izmanã received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Mihail Stroia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grigore Josan kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Vadim Macovei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Petru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Dorel Izmanã notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of AFC PunisherS™'s Mihail Stroia. Mihail Stroia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manole Miclauș hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Vadim Macovei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Groza, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Vadim Macovei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihai Dragomir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciprian Groza to make the kick off. Nae Malcoci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vadim Macovei having to interfere. Eduard Isvoreanu lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 56th match minute, AFC PunisherS™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Isvoreanu to maneuver through the defense. After 61 played minutes AFC PunisherS™ got a freekick which was hit by Eric Taşcu. Mihail Stroia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tudor Fratea in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Truseni's zone, Eric Taşcu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vadim Macovei came out of the goal and Eric Taşcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mihai Dragomir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Truseni's Eduard Halipa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mihail Stroia. That made the score 1-2 after 85 minutes of play.
