The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 17 minutes of play, Team Rocco's Lars-Erik Björk made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delfim Marquez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th match minute, Uno Mille FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telmo de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Delfim Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Jonasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Kurt Björkman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Team Rocco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some careless play in the Uno Mille FC defense, Lars-Erik Björk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delfim Marquez. The Uno Mille FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delfim Marquez should have stopped the shot. When Lars-Erik Björk came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Team Rocco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars-Erik Björk couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Jonasson in the 37th minute of play forced Uno Mille FC's goalkeeper Delfim Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Thiago Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uno Mille FC's protests and gave Thiago Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Uno Mille FC got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Cruz. Kurt Björkman took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delfim Marquez. Delfim Marquez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Tomas Jonasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Delfim Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Björkman in the 47th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Jonasson in the 48th minute of play forced Uno Mille FC's goalkeeper Delfim Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Augusto Vides to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isac Tholsson during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Team Rocco got a freekick which was hit by Isac Tholsson. 57 minutes into the game, Team Rocco's Tomas Jonasson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The supporters of Uno Mille FC booed when Team Rocco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Kurt Björkman made a precise shot to the right of Delfim Marquez. Uno Mille FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Team Rocco's Kurt Björkman got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Uno Mille FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Tomas Jonasson scored to the left of an out of position Delfim Marquez, making the score, 0-7. Uno Mille FC's Delfim Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Jonasson in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Uno Mille FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Telmo de Souza hit a great ball. Delfim Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Erik Björk, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Gildo Maranhense charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gildo Maranhense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes Uno Mille FC got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Maranhense. Tomas Jonassons short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Delfim Marquez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Jonasson in the 92nd minute of play forced Uno Mille FC's goalkeeper Delfim Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Team Rocco's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
