Spectators: 7476 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Stars Academy's Américo Albuquerque started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Conrado Havier kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Bento Perdigão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Marciano Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes, Evandro Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stars Academy and the Cervezanegra A.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evandro Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Cervezanegra A.C.'s Marciano Xacintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Albuquerque in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cervezanegra A.C.'s Conrado Havier got a free kick in the 16th minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Américo Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stars Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Albuquerque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquim Domingos came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Cervezanegra A.C.'s David Atauri. But to his dismay, David Atauri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Luken in the 36th minute of play forced Stars Academy's goalkeeper Joaquim Domingos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marciano Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Américo Albuquerque in the 37th minute of the match. Américo Albuquerque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marciano Xacintu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Marciano Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bento Perdigão in the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Octavio Luken made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Américo Albuquerque made a precise shot to the right of Marciano Xacintu. Cervezanegra A.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Albérico Bacelar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stars Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Albérico Bacelar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Xacintu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the match, Stars Academy's goal looked a bit too open when David Atauri came free, but Joaquim Domingos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Américo Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes Cervezanegra A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Ereinotz. When Evandro Neves was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. A collision led to Stars Academy getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Evandro Neves hit a great ball. David Atauri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquim Domingos. Stars Academy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Cervezanegra A.C.'s goalkeeper Marciano Xacintu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albérico Bacelar. Marciano Xacintu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Américo Albuquerque in the 88th minute. 88 minutes into the game, David Atauri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cervezanegra A.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stars Academy the free kick. After 88 played minutes Cervezanegra A.C. got a freekick which was hit by David Atauri. Américo Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marciano Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Stars Academy booed when Cervezanegra A.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Atauri didn't get a good kick on the ball.
