Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gigel Urduban kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Carpathian Wolves booed when CLATHU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Checa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Jacobo Sabin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ionică Alb, 1-1. After 15 minutes, Gualterio Gabino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CLATHU and the Carpathian Wolves players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes CLATHU got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Gabino. Nicu Steriopol, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as CLATHU's Jacobo Harriet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ionică Alb. That made the score 2-1 after 18 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Bastiaro in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionică Alb saved Carpathian Wolves from getting behind. Jacobo Harriet hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Andrei Encuțescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sabin Ciomag fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carpathian Wolves's protests and gave Sabin Ciomag a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Carpathian Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Ciomag. 28 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Ionică Alb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Bastiaro. CLATHU's Dario Evis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Urduban in the 29th minute of play. Andrei Encuțescu scored 2-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Evis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Carpathian Wolves's Ionică Alb got control of the ball when Denis Bastiaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Gigel Urduban notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of CLATHU's Dario Evis. Dario Evis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ionică Alb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denis Bastiaro went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Denis Bastiaro made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Denis Bastiaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionică Alb. Carpathian Wolves's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denis Bastiaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Constantin Hidișan in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dario Evis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. CLATHU's Dario Evis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Urduban in the 65th minute of play. Constantin Hoduț hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. CLATHU's Gonzalo Horado was substituted for Gualterio Gabino. The supporters of CLATHU booed when Carpathian Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Hoduț didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Bastiaro came free, but Ionică Alb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Bastiaro in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionică Alb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, CLATHU's Armando Fernanco got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Gigel Urduban came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Carpathian Wolves fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gigel Urduban couldn't finish the play. After 87 played minutes CLATHU got a freekick which was hit by Rene Irrintzi. 88 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's Nicu Steriopol broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Constantin Hidișan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Dario Evis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Many of Carpathian Wolves's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Carpathian Wolves may have spent more time on the ball, but CLATHU were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
