Spectators: 7450 (Terracing: 5589, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacobo Sabin started the match with the kick off. Aaron Truylos took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionică Alb. Ionică Alb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Jacobo Sabin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionică Alb. Carpathian Wolves's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacobo Sabin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 20 minutes of play, CLATHU's Jacobo Sabin made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionică Alb was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Carpathian Wolves's Constantin Hidișan got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 30th minute, Jacobo Sabin made a precise shot to the right of Ionică Alb. Carpathian Wolves's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Bastiaro in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionică Alb saved Carpathian Wolves from getting behind. Ionică Alb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Llin, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. A collision led to Carpathian Wolves getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Sabin Ciomag hit a great ball. After some careless play in the CLATHU defense, Constantin Hidișan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Evis. The CLATHU fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Evis should have stopped the shot. After the first half CLATHU were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gigel Urduban stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Carpathian Wolves's Ionică Alb got control of the ball when Denis Bastiaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Constantin Hidișan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Evis having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Harriet came free, but Ionică Alb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ionică Alb didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 65th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. With a little luck, Carpathian Wolves's Ionică Alb got control of the ball when Denis Bastiaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sabin Ciomag hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Jacobo Sabin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Aaron Truylos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ionică Alb. That made the score 1-6 in the 73 minute of play. After 76 minutes, Sabin Ciomag mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carpathian Wolves and the CLATHU players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CLATHU booed when Carpathian Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Ciomag didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match, Jacobo Sabin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ionică Alb saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ionică Alb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Sabin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantin Hidișan's late challenge caught a CLATHU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantin Hidișan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Carpathian Wolves getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Constantin Hidișan hit a great ball. The supporters of Carpathian Wolves booed when CLATHU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 minutes of play, CLATHU's Denis Bastiaro made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionică Alb was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Sabin in the 92nd minute of play forced Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Ionică Alb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Jacobo Harriet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Alb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 97 played minutes CLATHU got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Truylos.
