Carpathian Wolves's Ionică Alb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinaldo Pombal in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Carpathian Wolves's zone, David Félix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionică Alb came out of the goal and David Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Ernesto Fontes in the 6th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A collision led to Guadalupe FC - CIMZ getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Breno Brodel hit a great ball. Ionică Alb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute Ernesto Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Alb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Guadalupe FC - CIMZ booed when Carpathian Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ion Berevoescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrei Encuțescu's late challenge caught a Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrei Encuțescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Hortêncio de Queiroz made a precise shot to the right of Ionică Alb. Carpathian Wolves's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some careless play in the Carpathian Wolves defense, David Félix kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ionică Alb. The Carpathian Wolves fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ionică Alb should have stopped the shot. After 37 minutes of play, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Ernesto Fontes made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionică Alb was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Varela came free, but Ionică Alb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Carpathian Wolves's Constantin Hoduț seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Constantin Hoduț the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Carpathian Wolves protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Constantin Hoduț had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Guadalupe FC - CIMZ. Tiaguinho Palmeira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ionică Alb. 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernesto Fontes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carpathian Wolves's Ionică Alb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Carpathian Wolves from getting a goal against them. Ernesto Fontes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Ionică Alb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Fontes in the 89th minute of the match. Ionică Alb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinaldo Pombal in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Lopez during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Carpathian Wolves's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Reinaldo Pombal scored to the left of an out of position Ionică Alb, making the score, 0-8. When the match was over Guadalupe FC - CIMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carpathian Wolves throughout the match.
