Spectators: 7444 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Klement Odachowski started the match with the kick off. If Jaroslaw Basinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chelsea Brudzew's Maciej Solibieda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Chelsea Brudzew from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Encuțescu in the 15th minute of play forced Chelsea Brudzew's goalkeeper Maciej Solibieda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaroslaw Kuszczak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ionică Alb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Chelsea Brudzew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaroslaw Basinski to maneuver through the defense. Maciej Solibieda acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nicu Steriopol. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klement Odachowski in the 22nd minute of play forced Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Ionică Alb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maciej Solibieda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Urduban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klement Odachowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Carpathian Wolves's zone, Klement Odachowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionică Alb came out of the goal and Klement Odachowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Daniel Pincoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantin Hoduț kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Carpathian Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Ciomag. In the 35th minute, Dumitru Ştoia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ionică Alb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pincoski in the 37th minute of play. Maciej Solibieda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Urduban in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gigel Urduban to strike the kick off in the second half. Andrei Encuțescu scored 1-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maciej Solibieda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Urduban in the 73rd minute of play forced Chelsea Brudzew's goalkeeper Maciej Solibieda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Chelsea Brudzew's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Encuțescu came free, but Maciej Solibieda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Andrei Encuțescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Maciej Solibieda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Andrei Encuțescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute, Jaroslaw Basinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maciej Solibieda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gigel Urduban in the 93rd minute of the match. When Gigel Urduban fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carpathian Wolves's protests and gave Gigel Urduban a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Carpathian Wolves's Gigel Urduban got a free kick in the 97th minute. Carpathian Wolves's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
