The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wictor Holmstedt during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, Wictor Holmstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute, Jacobo Sabin made a precise shot to the right of Johannes Kristiansson. BENA FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of BENA FK booed when CLATHU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Llin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 played minutes CLATHU got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Checa. BENA FK's Villiam Hultman couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CLATHU. Dario Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pål Klintæus in the 14th minute of play. Östen Bennet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Jacobo Sabin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johannes Kristiansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Bastiaro in the 22nd minute of play forced BENA FK's goalkeeper Johannes Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 24 in the game by Östen Bennet from a close distance when the talented Dario Evis managed to make a qualified save. CLATHU's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacobo Harriet during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Denis Bastiaro fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CLATHU's protests and gave Denis Bastiaro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, CLATHU's Denis Bastiaro got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st match minute, BENA FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pål Klintæus to maneuver through the defense. When Jacobo Harriet was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 34 minutes had been played. After 34 played minutes CLATHU got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Harriet. In the 40th minute, Pål Klintæus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Evis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to CLATHU getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Armando Fernanco hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Denis Bastiaro made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Erling Sundström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johannes Kristiansson made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Denis Bastiaro sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in BENA FK's zone, Jacobo Sabin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johannes Kristiansson came out of the goal and Jacobo Sabin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Denis Bastiaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Torbjörn Löfgren hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Östen Bennet struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Dario Evis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BENA FK. CLATHU's Gonzalo Horado was substituted for Gualterio Gabino. Dario Evis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pål Klintæus, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute of the match, Denis Bastiaro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Johannes Kristiansson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Sundström in the 86th minute of play forced CLATHU's goalkeeper Dario Evis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Evis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Bennet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, CLATHU's goal looked a bit too open when Wictor Holmstedt came free, but Dario Evis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Östen Bennet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Dario Evis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CLATHU walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
