In the 8th minute, Igor Pio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antiguos FC v2.0's Antonio Aragones couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SOUTH THUNDER. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Aragones in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Balendin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Isidoro Godoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Godoy in the 14th minute of play forced Antiguos FC v2.0's goalkeeper Cristian Caradaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute SOUTH THUNDER were awarded a corner. Arturo Acevedo went to the cornerflag to take it. Timoteo Gaizko thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Cristian Caradaro, a very annoying self made goal in the 19th minute which led to 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Antiguos FC v2.0's Erubiel Dorio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Erubiel Dorio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Antiguos FC v2.0 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Erubiel Dorio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Antiguos FC v2.0 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Acevedo got free with Cristian Caradaro in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antiguos FC v2.0's Antonio Aragones got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Arturo Acevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristian Caradaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. A hard shot 37 in the game by Arturo Acevedo from a close distance when the talented Cristian Caradaro managed to make a qualified save. Antiguos FC v2.0's players were relieved. If Antonio Aragones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Godoy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristian Caradaro came out and tried to block the shot, but Isidoro Godoy slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Cristian Caradaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Isidoro Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Caradaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Acevedo in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, SOUTH THUNDER's Arturo Acevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristian Caradaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. If Antonio Aragones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, SOUTH THUNDER's Bruno Balendin got control of the ball when Federico Etxekopar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antiguos FC v2.0's Cristian Caradaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Godoy in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Isidoro Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Caradaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Caradaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Acevedo in the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Arturo Acevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Caradaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
