In the 19th minute Santiago Tome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Abeita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Motu got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Paublo. In the 31st match minute, Motu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the game, Atilano Goizeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Motu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SOUTH THUNDER the free kick. After 33 played minutes Motu got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Goizeder. After 43 played minutes SOUTH THUNDER got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Lucila.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Acevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Luisito Eleder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SOUTH THUNDER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Motu the free kick. 83 minutes into the game, Arturo Acevedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eliseo Abeita. Arturo Acevedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. The supporters of SOUTH THUNDER booed when Motu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Porfiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Ezequiel Leizarraga got a free kick in the 89th minute.
