Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Arturo Acevedo made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the game, Marquez Castruita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ornopata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SOUTH THUNDER the free kick. A collision led to Ornopata getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Marquez Castruita hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Cleto Elixio managed to get in a good position for a shot. SOUTH THUNDER's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleto Elixio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Sala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paco Marine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Balendin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Ornopata's Paco Marine nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Balendin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 15th match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Acevedo to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Ornopata's Paco Marine sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Balendin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arturo Acevedo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 36th playminute. If Paco Marine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Arturo Acevedo got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

Walter Sala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Arturo Acevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SOUTH THUNDER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Santiago Tome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Walter Sala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Balendin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moreno Conti, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Santiago Tome got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute, Arturo Acevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnaldo Theodore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walter Sala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Marquez Castruita got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 79 played minutes Ornopata got a freekick which was hit by Marquez Castruita. After a rather tough play, SOUTH THUNDER's Arnaldo Theodore got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Moreno Conti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Balendin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Santiago Tome kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Virues during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SOUTH THUNDER booed when Ornopata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Virues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Balendin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moreno Conti in the 91st minute of play. After 92 played minutes SOUTH THUNDER got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Tome.
