The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandro Barreto got free with Boran Gencal in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kahraman Yalım recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 35 played minutes Santo Amaro AC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Garcia. Boran Gencal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Bozkurt's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Garcia came free, but Boran Gencal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tevfik Demiralp hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yuri Veloso in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boran Gencal saved Bozkurt from getting behind. Aníbal Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdulbaki Boratay to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Santo Amaro AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Veloso to maneuver through the defense. Abdulbaki Boratay struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Eusébio Albuquerque didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bozkurt. Atalay Şahtürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Abdulbaki Boratay notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Santo Amaro AC's Eusébio Albuquerque. Eusébio Albuquerque was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sandro Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Boran Gencal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Santo Amaro AC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Beto Maciel hit a great ball.
