Martien van Boxel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moreno Conti in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moreno Conti in the 6th minute of play forced Fc Benefica's goalkeeper Martien van Boxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walter Sala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Bessing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martien van Boxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moreno Conti in the 10th minute of play. Theo Blikman took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walter Sala. Walter Sala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Fc Benefica getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Bjorn Mos hit a great ball. The supporters of Ornopata booed when Fc Benefica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacco Swart didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Bessing in the 27th minute of play forced Ornopata's goalkeeper Walter Sala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dennis Bessing hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Vistruario Agosta hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 32 played minutes, Fc Benefica's Roeland Ridder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Walter Sala came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fc Benefica reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moreno Conti got free with Martien van Boxel in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Moreno Conti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Martien van Boxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Benefica's zone, Paco Marine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martien van Boxel came out of the goal and Paco Marine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diderik Fellinger kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theo Blikman was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute Moreno Conti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martien van Boxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moreno Conti struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Martien van Boxel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ornopata. After having played for 70 minutes, Nathan Zegers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Benefica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nathan Zegers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Ornopata's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Blikman came free, but Walter Sala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Theo Blikman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Walter Sala. That made the score 0-2 in the 77 minute of play. Paco Marine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Martien van Boxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walter Sala made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Theo Blikman sent off a good shot on target. Martien van Boxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moreno Conti in the 90th minute of play. Nathan Zegers received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Walter Sala came out and tried to block the shot, but Nathan Zegers slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 95th minute.
