Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arturo Acevedo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Isidoro Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th match minute, Ornopata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Godoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Walter Sala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marquez Castruita hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ornopata getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Moreno Conti hit a great ball. Arturo Acevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Sala having to interfere. When Arturo Acevedo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the SOUTH THUNDER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Acevedo couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Arnaldo Theodore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ornopata defense, Arturo Acevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walter Sala. The Ornopata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walter Sala should have stopped the shot. Walter Sala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Godoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Arturo Acevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SOUTH THUNDER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Walter Sala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Godoy went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Moreno Conti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Benito Argi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ornopata's Vilson Huguet got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Silvestre Maldonado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Acevedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 66thth minute of the game Moreno Conti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SOUTH THUNDER's Benito Argi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Isidoro Godoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Vilson Huguet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 minutes, Ulises Olaechea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ornopata and the SOUTH THUNDER players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SOUTH THUNDER getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Isidoro Godoy hit a great ball. In the 87th match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Acevedo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moreno Conti in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Argi saved SOUTH THUNDER from getting behind. Moreno Conti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Argi having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Arnaldo Theodore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SOUTH THUNDER's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
