Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Dinu Aursulesei made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Drăgan in the 3rd minute of play forced Nykvarn's goalkeeper Tage Rang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nykvarn's Tage Rang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Videanu in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute David Jönsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Toader saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Drăgan in the 11th minute of play forced Nykvarn's goalkeeper Tage Rang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Dinu Aursulesei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tage Rang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Toader was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and David Jönsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. David Jönsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience was convinced that David Jönsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Toader was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Sigvard Juhlin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Damian Toader made a huge save. Costică Pacurar hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Conny Sundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nykvarn's supporters rose to their feet, but Conny Sundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damian Toader breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tage Rang came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Purcaresti CSS's Marius Timaru. But to his dismay, Marius Timaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tage Rang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigi Drăgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Purcaresti CSS were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Jönsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sigvard Juhlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 played minutes Purcaresti CSS got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Drăgan. After a rather tough play, Purcaresti CSS's Costică Pacurar got a free kick in the 61st minute. Purcaresti CSS's Damian Toader played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigvard Juhlin in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Purcaresti CSS getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Eduard Glodeanu hit a great ball. Damian Toader stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Jönsson's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. If Sigvard Juhlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Marius Timaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Purcaresti CSS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nykvarn.
