Spectators: 7527 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Behzat Özbil started the match with the kick off. After 16 played minutes MICE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Theodosis Theodorakoglou. In the 20th minute Baykan Yıldırımtürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omiros Bakogiannopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MICE F.C.'s Omiros Bakogiannopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kürşat Varan in the 21st minute of play. Behzat Özbil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omiros Bakogiannopoulos having to interfere. The long shot by İdris Özarı in the 44th minute really tested Omiros Bakogiannopoulos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to MICE F.C. getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Theodosis Theodorakoglou hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Menios Stelakis made a kick off. The supporters of Sansargiller FK booed when MICE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menios Stelakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kürşat Varan struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Omiros Bakogiannopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sansargiller FK. Baykan Yıldırımtürk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kürşat Varan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Omiros Bakogiannopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cemal Rüştü sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Omiros Bakogiannopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Behzat Özbil, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behzat Özbil in the 67th minute of play forced MICE F.C.'s goalkeeper Omiros Bakogiannopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Baykan Yıldırımtürk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omiros Bakogiannopoulos. MICE F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baykan Yıldırımtürk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After a rather tough play, Sansargiller FK's Cemal Rüştü got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Behzat Özbil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th minute, Tasos Tsirigopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute of the match Davut Özdal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omiros Bakogiannopoulos skillfully saved the ball. MICE F.C.'s Omiros Bakogiannopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behzat Özbil in the 86th minute of play. MICE F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
