The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Peñarol FIFV. In the 12th minute, Cemal Rüştü hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Deportivo Peñarol FIFV booed when Sansargiller FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Numan Bayezit didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Huly Sayago got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behzat Özbil in the 18th minute of play forced Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goalkeeper Alexandro Herreria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorino Caravantes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haşmet Çetinay in the 36th minute of play forced Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goalkeeper Alexandro Herreria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haşmet Çetinay took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandro Herreria. Alexandro Herreria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Alexandro Herreria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baykan Yıldırımtürk in the 45th minute of the match. Haşmet Çetinay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandro Herreria having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorino Caravantes made a kick off. If Behzat Özbil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haşmet Çetinay in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandro Herreria saved Deportivo Peñarol FIFV from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Numan Bayezit during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Ali Numan Bayezit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rıfat Oğurata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Mateo in the 68th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV fully deserved thier win.
