Ryszard Pyrtek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacper Domala in the 12th minute of play. Kacper Domala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maciej Fetor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Piotrków Trybunalski's Szymon Tobaczewski got a free kick in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maciej Fetor in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aureliusz Fronczak saved Piotrków Trybunalski from getting behind. Maciej Fetor took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aureliusz Fronczak. Aureliusz Fronczak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Antoni Falke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ryszard Pyrtek having to make a save. With his leg Aureliusz Fronczak managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when GORNIK PIASKI's Maciej Fetor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 41 played minutes GORNIK PIASKI got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Dombrowski. In the game's 42nd minute Piotrków Trybunalski's Bartosz Miazga took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Ryszard Pyrtek and thus the score was 1-1. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Maciej Fetor put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aureliusz Fronczak. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kacper Domala stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ryszard Pyrtek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kacper Domala in the 75th minute of the match. With his leg Ryszard Pyrtek managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Piotrków Trybunalski's Kacper Domala fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aureliusz Fronczak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maciej Fetor's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Eugeniusz Dombrowski kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Mieszko Czysta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Ryszard Pyrtek made a huge save.
