Flores da Cunha - RS's Rômulo Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Sá in the 18th minute of play. Rômulo Neiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcinho Donato's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Rômulo Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho Donato in the 23rd minute of play. Rômulo Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho Donato in the 34th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Flores da Cunha - RS got a freekick which was hit by Severino Mattos. In the 37thth minute of the game Marcinho Donato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flores da Cunha - RS's Rômulo Neiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Marcinho Donato cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Rômulo Neiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, Bernardo Pereira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rômulo Neiva. Flores da Cunha - RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardo Pereira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The referee ignored THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's protests and gave Olívio Viana a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Olívio Viana hit a great ball. After the first half THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marco Gonçalves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcinho Donato had several of the Flores da Cunha - RS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Rômulo Neiva as he didn't even see the shot coming.
