Cezary Skrzypek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel de Toledo having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Tomé Nogueira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Galena Kielce's Walery Jaktorowo. Edgar Boruta's late challenge caught a RWD Molenbeek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 42 played minutes RWD Molenbeek got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Simão. If Edmundo Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zula Limanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel de Toledo having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cezary Skrzypek made a kick off. Edmundo Pires scored 3-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walery Jaktorowo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Galena Kielce's Walery Jaktorowo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Pires in the 61st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Walery Nowak took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Miguel de Toledo to make any attempt to save it.
