The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Zbigniew Barycz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The supporters of Samsunspor booed when Janusze Futbolu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Ledochowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismail Ceceli charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismail Ceceli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Atilla Tarkan Enfal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 37th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Karol Dabrowski. A collision led to Samsunspor getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Korkut Dirican hit a great ball. If Deniz Geylanoğullarından had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zbigniew Barycz scored 2-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atilla Tarkan Enfal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zbigniew Barycz to make the kick off. Janusze Futbolu's Zbigniew Barycz got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Korkut Dirican charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 63rd minute, Güral Vecih got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samsunspor made a substitution. Samsunspor's Atilla Tarkan Enfal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Barycz in the 71st minute of play. Karol Dabrowski scored 4-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atilla Tarkan Enfal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Deniz Geylanoğullarından kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michal Brysz. That made the score 4-2 in the 80 minute of play. Karol Dabrowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atilla Tarkan Enfal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute Deniz Geylanoğullarından shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Brysz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milosz Fafinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Janusze Futbolu fans cheered their team off the field, for while Samsunspor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
