Isac Mota started the match with the kick off. Silvano Morais charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvano Morais the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 5 minutes into the match, Saturnino Quinton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hamilton Poças, 1-0. Fabian Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Saturnino Quinton came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the SABALEPLUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Quinton couldn't finish the play. After 19 minutes of play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Silvano Morais made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavino Ondino was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, SABALEPLUS's Fernando Laffitte got a free kick in the 24th minute. Óscar Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gavino Ondino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Hamilton Poças played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Quinton in the 35th minute of play. Hamilton Poças showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Quinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A hard shot 40 in the game by Cristian Castillo from a close distance when the talented Hamilton Poças managed to make a qualified save. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s players were relieved. Hamilton Poças stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saturnino Quinton's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Quinton in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hamilton Poças saved Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saturnino Quinton to strike the kick off in the second half. With a left leg Hamilton Poças saved Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Castillo came free, but Hamilton Poças reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 played minutes SABALEPLUS got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Quinton. In the 70th match minute, SABALEPLUS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Quinton to maneuver through the defense. SABALEPLUS's Gavino Ondino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Mota in the 71st minute of play. Isac Mota's late challenge caught a SABALEPLUS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isac Mota helped the player get up and apologised. Gavino Ondino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Óscar Soares in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute Fulgencio Pacifico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamilton Poças saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Silvano Morais recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gavino Ondino. Silvano Morais showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Gavino Ondino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Mota in the 94th minute of play. The SABALEPLUS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Sporting Clube V.R.S.A..
