Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's Moisés Arce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. Marcelo Donato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Orzaize read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Ponce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vampiros Aztecas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ the free kick. Ildefonso Ponce hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Doriva de Queirós was the one to do the kick off. Jeremias Orzaize showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Donato in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Ildefonso Ponce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Anderson Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Anderson Cardozo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Orzaize breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63 played minutes Vampiros Aztecas got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Rik. Anderson Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jeremias Orzaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruben Garin struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Moisés Arce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vampiros Aztecas. A collision led to Vampiros Aztecas getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Enzo Cordarius hit a great ball. André da Fonseca, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 79th minute, Marcelo Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Fabricio Gervaso fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vampiros Aztecas's protests and gave Fabricio Gervaso a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ booed when Vampiros Aztecas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Gervaso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vampiros Aztecas's Ildefonso Ponce got a free kick in the 91st minute. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
