Patrick Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Telmo Chaves having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Angelo Mangueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute Júnior Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The tension between the Pinheiros Capibaras FC and the EoDu Uai Sôccer players grew even worse after the yellow card. Júnior Matos struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Telmo Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EoDu Uai Sôccer. Bebeto Ribeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bebeto Ribeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bebeto Ribeiro hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Orlando Guimarães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Fabiano Sena went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Célio Rezende got a free kick in the 89th minute. Júnior Matos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Telmo Chaves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
