Niubility FC's supporters rose to their feet, but 钱辉奕 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dani Rapino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, 梅枫帆 took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dani Rapino to make any attempt to save it. 46 minutes into the match, Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Urrutia Iruretagoyena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 姚常洋 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Niubility FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urrutia Iruretagoyena came free, but 姚常洋 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Polo Bellogin made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urrutia Iruretagoyena in the 53rd minute of play forced Niubility FC's goalkeeper 姚常洋 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Niubility FC booed when Real Guayaquil.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Polo Bellogin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Real Guayaquil.F.C. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
