Szczepan Ludwa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Polo Bellogin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Szczepan Ludwa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 33 played minutes Real Guayaquil.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Calona. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Mieszko Wielopolski put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Keyes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Szczepan Ludwa, was totally fooled by Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Polo Bellogin, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Szczepan Ludwa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mendoza Vinuesa in the 44th minute of the match. Mendoza Vinuesa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Szczepan Ludwa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Rocafort in the 47th minute of play. 48 minutes into the game, Polo Bellogin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Szczepan Ludwa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maksymilian Hodas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Dannes Asuaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Ludwa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Edgardo Calona got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Szczepan Ludwa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mendoza Vinuesa in the 66th minute of play. Keyes's Szczepan Ludwa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Polo Bellogin in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the Keyes defense, Mendoza Vinuesa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Szczepan Ludwa. The Keyes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Szczepan Ludwa should have stopped the shot. Lucjan Kossakowski's late challenge caught a Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucjan Kossakowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Narciso Vincens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th match minute, Keyes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roch Sanocki to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Polo Bellogin tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Perlaza Aguirol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szczepan Ludwa having to interfere. In the 96th minute Urrutia Iruretagoyena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szczepan Ludwa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Keyes's goal looked a bit too open when Polo Bellogin came free, but Szczepan Ludwa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szczepan Ludwa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mendoza Vinuesa, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the referee ended the match the Real Guayaquil.F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
