In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Blomstermåla BK. Börje Apelquist stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dani Rapino. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ragnar Westerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blomstermåla BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ragnar Westerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dani Rapino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Börje Apelquist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dani Rapino. Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 18th minute, Mendoza Vinuesa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ragnar Westerberg during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Ragnar Westerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Polo Bellogin got free with Ingvar Brogren in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th minute, Urrutia Iruretagoyena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ragnar Westerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Urrutia Iruretagoyena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eddie Arhenius in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dani Rapino prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ragnar Westerberg to make the kick off. Sven-Edvin Lindkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th match minute, Real Guayaquil.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mendoza Vinuesa to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Real Guayaquil.F.C. booed when Blomstermåla BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Dahlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Polo Bellogin's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Ingvar Brogren on his right side and into the goal. 65 minutes into the game it was 1-3. The audience was convinced that Polo Bellogin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ingvar Brogren was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Dani Rapino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ragnar Westerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Dani Rapino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Westerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessandro Rocafort charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alessandro Rocafort the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Real Guayaquil.F.C.'s Alessandro Rocafort got a free kick in the 91st minute. The Real Guayaquil.F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Blomstermåla BK's performance. The match ended with a win for Blomstermåla BK.
