The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robai Julius Carabajal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 6 played minutes Club Sportiv Medgidia got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Timaru. Nicu Arghirescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Loremans in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match The Wolfpack™ got a corner. Club Sportiv Medgidia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maxime Van Looy ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Lars De Vorster heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Brain Van De Gehuchte hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goal looked a bit too open when Julius Loremans came free, but Nicu Arghirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Club Sportiv Medgidia booed when The Wolfpack™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Verhaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Sebastian Matei couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for The Wolfpack™. 20 minutes into the game, Julius Loremans recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicu Arghirescu. Julius Loremans showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Norbert Verhaert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicu Arghirescu. Nicu Arghirescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 30th minute, The Wolfpack™'s Julius Loremans dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Club Sportiv Medgidia's Flavius Băieșu got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 42 played minutes The Wolfpack™ got a freekick which was hit by Julius Loremans. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute Maxime Van Looy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th match minute, The Wolfpack™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxime Van Looy to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Ştefan Alupulesei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robai Julius Carabajal was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Lucien Denijs kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Robai Julius Carabajal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ştefan Alupulesei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Arnout Dauwe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Wolfpack™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Sportiv Medgidia the free kick. When Julius Loremans fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Wolfpack™'s protests and gave Julius Loremans a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club Sportiv Medgidia booed when The Wolfpack™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julius Loremans didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augustin Horea got free with Robai Julius Carabajal in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicu Arghirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxime Van Looy in the 80th minute of the match. If Augustin Horea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, The Wolfpack™'s goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Hulubei came free, but Robai Julius Carabajal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game Ştefan Alupulesei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Wolfpack™'s Robai Julius Carabajal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute, Club Sportiv Medgidia's Ştefan Alupulesei ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robai Julius Carabajal. Robai Julius Carabajal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. Club Sportiv Medgidia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
