Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augustin Horea to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Devoto club social's Cosme Enmanuel got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 54 played minutes Devoto club social got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Henrico. Paulo Henrico took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicu Arghirescu. Nicu Arghirescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 63 minutes into the game, Emanuel Gasteiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Liviu Alupulesei didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Emanuel Gasteiz fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Devoto club social's protests and gave Emanuel Gasteiz a yellow card for diving instead.
