The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Montez in the 3rd minute of play forced Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Ricardinho Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Three Lions FC defense, Faustino Montez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardinho Pirani. The Three Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardinho Pirani should have stopped the shot. Three Lions FC's Ricardinho Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Montez in the 10th minute of play. Rafael de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Lisandro Rameriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Legacy Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Montez. Álvaro Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Marquinhos Matos's late challenge caught a Legacy Youth Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Three Lions FC's Ricardinho Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Montez in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Bernardo Leal hit a great ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Wilfredo Oliveiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legacy Youth Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo Oliveiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 34 minutes of play, Legacy Youth Academy's Faustino Montez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardinho Pirani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Faustino Montez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Pirani having to interfere. Faustino Montez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ricardinho Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Faustino Montez to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Douglas Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Three Lions FC booed when Legacy Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Marin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisandro Rameriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael de Godoi in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Montez in the 63rd minute of play forced Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Ricardinho Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardinho Pirani was a little too slow when Wilfredo Oliveiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Legacy Youth Academy's Faustino Montez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardinho Pirani. That made the score 0-4 after 77 minutes of play. In the 80th minute, Three Lions FC's Marcos Guedes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marcos Guedes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Three Lions FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marcos Guedes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Legacy Youth Academy's Faustino Montez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ricardinho Pirani. If Faustino Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardinho Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Montez, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Legacy Youth Academy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
