FC Philotimo's Ximenes Coz got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernando Gartxot charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Gartxot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fernando Gartxot kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Philotimo getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Blandón Veladiez hit a great ball. The supporters of FC Philotimo booed when Pink Floyd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Gartxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Pink Floyd's Cirilo Tebaldo got control of the ball when Justavino Cortez tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Philotimo's Héctor Lloret got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justavino Cortez got free with Cirilo Tebaldo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Philotimo's Justavino Cortez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cirilo Tebaldo. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play. Cirilo Tebaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justavino Cortez, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. A collision led to FC Philotimo getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Eugenio Graus hit a great ball. Cirilo Tebaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justavino Cortez in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Justavino Cortez in the 52nd minute of play forced Pink Floyd's goalkeeper Cirilo Tebaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Justavino Cortez put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cirilo Tebaldo. The supporters of Pink Floyd booed when FC Philotimo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Martines didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Ximenes Coz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the game, Ximenes Coz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Philotimo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pink Floyd the free kick. When Ximenes Coz came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the FC Philotimo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ximenes Coz couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Eugenio Graus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justavino Cortez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute of the match Blandón Veladiez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cirilo Tebaldo skillfully saved the ball. In the 93rd minute Justavino Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Tebaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Blandón Veladiez managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Philotimo's supporters rose to their feet, but Blandón Veladiez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Tebaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pink Floyd players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Philotimo.
