Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5610, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nestor Abalos took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute of the match, Blandón Veladiez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ruben Duarte was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 5th minute, Nestor Abalos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Federales FC Ψ OFF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 7 minutes, Justavino Cortez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Philotimo and the Federales FC Ψ OFF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Philotimo's Justavino Cortez got a free kick in the 8th minute. Matias Morquecho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Abalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Nestor Abalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Morquecho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Luisito Aurken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ximenes Coz struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Ruben Duarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Philotimo. 29 minutes into the match, Blandón Veladiez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruben Duarte. Federales FC Ψ OFF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blandón Veladiez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 36 minutes of play, Federales FC Ψ OFF's Bernardino Ruisko made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Morquecho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matias Morquecho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Abalos, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Abalos in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Morquecho saved FC Philotimo from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Justavino Cortez made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, FC Philotimo's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Ruisko came free, but Matias Morquecho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robustiano Joachim got free with Matias Morquecho in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matias Morquecho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Joachim in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Robustiano Joachim made a precise shot to the right of Matias Morquecho. FC Philotimo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Bernardino Ruisko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Matias Morquecho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, FC Philotimo's goalkeeper Matias Morquecho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Montrelle. FC Philotimo's Matias Morquecho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Abalos in the 77th minute of play. After 79 minutes FC Philotimo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Javier Mero who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Robustiano Joachim heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 82 minutes into the match, Federales FC Ψ OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor Lloret came free, but Ruben Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 88 minutes on the clock, Morales Villamizar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Philotimo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! In the 95th minute, Eugenio Graus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federales FC Ψ OFF's Ruben Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blandón Veladiez in the 98th minute of play.
