In the 10thth minute of the game Faustino Montez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 20 DE SETEMBRO's Hélder de Queiroz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Válter Neto scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Marcones, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yuri Vieira charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yuri Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Legacy Youth Academy booed when 20 DE SETEMBRO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nunez Normando was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Válter Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Marcones having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Legacy Youth Academy's goalkeeper Jeremias Marcones had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válter Neto. 20 DE SETEMBRO's Hélder de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Montez in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Legacy Youth Academy's goalkeeper Jeremias Marcones had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clóvis Corrêa. After 33 minutes of play, Legacy Youth Academy's Faustino Montez made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hélder de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the game, Walmyr Borges was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 20 DE SETEMBRO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Legacy Youth Academy the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Válter Neto got free with Jeremias Marcones in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, 20 DE SETEMBRO's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Leguizamón came free, but Hélder de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Legacy Youth Academy getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jaime Leguizamón hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessandro Neves to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Neves in the 51st minute of play forced Legacy Youth Academy's goalkeeper Jeremias Marcones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Oliveiro in the 52nd minute of play. In the 77th minute Faustino Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Faustino Montez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hélder de Queiroz was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Hélder de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Montez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 DE SETEMBRO's Hélder de Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save 20 DE SETEMBRO from getting a goal against them. 20 DE SETEMBRO's Hélder de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Oliveiro in the 81st minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match, Faustino Montez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hélder de Queiroz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Legacy Youth Academy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
