After a rather tough play, Three Lions FC's Álvaro Proença got a free kick in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Three Lions FC's George Neuer got control of the ball when Faustino Montez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Legacy Youth Academy booed when Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Chus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Three Lions FC's Marcos Guedes got a free kick in the 29th minute. Legacy Youth Academy's Jaime Leguizamón was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, George Neuer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 37th minute, Three Lions FC's Marcos Guedes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marcos Guedes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Three Lions FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marcos Guedes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Three Lions FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! After 45 played minutes Legacy Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Rosio. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Álvaro Proença made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Legacy Youth Academy's Elias Firman got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Montez in the 64th minute of play forced Three Lions FC's goalkeeper George Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabian Rosio kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Faustino Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leandro Chus hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Jeronimo Shepherd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Guto Brodel in the 79th minute really tested Wilfredo Oliveiro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Álvaro Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Wilfredo Oliveiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Legacy Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Cordarryl to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Bernardo Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. George Neuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Montez in the 90th minute of play. Bernardo Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Three Lions FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Legacy Youth Academy.
