Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rodriguinho Dias took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Romário Linares fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sandinense ADF's protests and gave Romário Linares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Romário Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pablo Bernebe scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony de Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute Rodriguinho Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Ubarna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Toninho Vaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd match minute, Sandinense ADF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Paraense to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th match minute, Sandinense ADF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gildo Valle to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Pablo Bernebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuervos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Bernebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony de Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd match minute, Sandinense ADF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Penha to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sandinense ADF's zone, Dario Urtsin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony de Sena came out of the goal and Dario Urtsin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Toninho Vaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandinense ADF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toninho Vaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Pablo Bernebe made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Ediberto Paraense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandinense ADF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuervos AFC the free kick. In the 54th minute, Ediberto Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorio Maju could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Tony de Sena made a huge save. Arnaldo Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Cuervos AFC's Dario Urtsin got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cássio Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cuervos AFC's Nereo Cresenciano got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Gregorio Maju got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gregorio Maju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st match minute, Cuervos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Iigo to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Gildo Valle put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Sandinense ADF's Gildo Valle got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Cuervos AFC's Dario Urtsin got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
