Tasos Kontargyris hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Albertino Lobato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fondas Balouris was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After 38 played minutes Esquadrão Lusitano got a freekick which was hit by Durval Quintanilha. Manolis Papalexiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Trindade having to interfere. A collision led to ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Spyros Kotsopoulos hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half.
