After 9 played minutes Quetzal Flyers Hammers got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Axel Linberg. FC Lions Levice's Emil Šrobár shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 10th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Oskar Vestberg but with some difficulty. Róbert Sakmár hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, Emil Šrobár was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Lions Levice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quetzal Flyers Hammers the free kick. Klas Löfgren took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bohuš Sakmár. Bohuš Sakmár dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stano Mariáš made a kick off. During the 59th minute of the match Emil Šrobár completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Emil Šrobár a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Emil Šrobár hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. FC Lions Levice's Bohuš Sakmár proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lions Levice from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, FC Lions Levice's goalkeeper Bohuš Sakmár had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfons Mattsson. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Róbert Sakmár managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lions Levice's supporters rose to their feet, but Róbert Sakmár was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oskar Vestberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bohuš Sakmár made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Åke Asserlindh sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute Quetzal Flyers Hammers were awarded a corner. Karl Fagrell went to the cornerflag to take it. When Vincent Burgeľa fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lions Levice's protests and gave Vincent Burgeľa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Lions Levice's Vincent Burgeľa got a free kick in the 97th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Quetzal Flyers Hammers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
