Lengua de Lobo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Lugo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th match minute, Nina fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Heriberto to maneuver through the defense. Erubiel Lugo struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Lucio Hernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lengua de Lobo. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Erubiel Lugo sped through Nina fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucio Hernandez. Ciriaco Frederik hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Erubiel Lugo's late challenge caught a Nina fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erubiel Lugo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Erubiel Lugo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th match minute, Nina fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Silviano to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celestino Munio got free with Rigoberto Rosario in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Nina fc's Edgard Heriberto got a free kick in the 36th minute. Victor Gonza might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucio Hernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Gonza ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Erubiel Lugo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lengua de Lobo's supporters rose to their feet, but Erubiel Lugo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Hernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucio Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Gonza in the 41st minute of the match. Erubiel Lugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Hernandez having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celestino Munio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Nina fc's Augusto Silviano got a free kick in the 54th minute. Adolfo Estefan's late challenge caught a Nina fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Estefan helped the player get up and apologised. When Nina fc's Celestino Munio in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Rigoberto Rosario came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Nina fc's Celestino Munio. But to his dismay, Celestino Munio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 78 minutes into the match, Dante Pirmin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Nina fc's Lucio Hernandez. Lucio Hernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erubiel Lugo got free with Lucio Hernandez in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nina fc's Celestino Munio got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Nina fc supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lengua de Lobo's performance. The match ended with a win for Lengua de Lobo.
