Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Svend Blomner kicked off to start the match. Laércio de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svend Blomner, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Berndt Blæsgaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laércio de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svend Blomner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute of the match, Flávio Gomes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ebbe Høgenhaug was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Vestegnens Betonhelte booed when Cestarolli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Berndt Blæsgaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laércio de Almeida skillfully saved the ball. Laércio de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svend Blomner in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Vestegnens Betonhelte got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Tollesen. Tony Ribeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ebbe Høgenhaug came out and tried to block the shot, but Tony Ribeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svend Blomner in the 22nd minute of play forced Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Laércio de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 played minutes Cestarolli FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Batista. After a defensive mix-up in Vestegnens Betonhelte's zone, Flávio Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ebbe Høgenhaug came out of the goal and Flávio Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berndt Blæsgaard might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laércio de Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berndt Blæsgaard ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony Ribeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Cestarolli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Souza to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Laércio de Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svend Blomner. With a little luck, Cestarolli FC's Laércio de Almeida got control of the ball when Mik Ersking tried to sneak it across the goal line. Askild Tofteby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Laércio de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aírton Toledo's late challenge caught a Vestegnens Betonhelte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aírton Toledo helped the player get up and apologised. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Svend Blomner sped through Cestarolli FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Laércio de Almeida. Júlio Souza hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Vestegnens Betonhelte got a freekick which was hit by William Ren. When the match was over Vestegnens Betonhelte could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cestarolli FC throughout the match.
