Laércio de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pylyp Orel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Mykhaylo Schastlyvyi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cestarolli FC's Laércio de Almeida. Laércio de Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Cestarolli FC's Walmir Valle got a free kick in the 15th minute. Valentyn Lysogir took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Laércio de Almeida. Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Kostyantyn Tereschenko fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ruh Lviv's protests and gave Kostyantyn Tereschenko a yellow card for diving instead. Kostyantyn Tereschenko kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Viktor Yaxmanitskyi made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Olexiy Golyuk immediately put the ball in play. In the 23rd minute Mykhaylo Schastlyvyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mykhaylo Schastlyvyi came free, but Laércio de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laércio de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olexiy Golyuk in the 28th minute of the match. André Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Valentyn Lysogir shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laércio de Almeida showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pylyp Orel in the 34th minute of play forced Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Laércio de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Tony Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laércio de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mykhaylo Schastlyvyi in the 39th minute of the match. Mykyta Gvozdevych took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laércio de Almeida. Laércio de Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. FC Ruh Lviv made a substitution. Petro Dyachuk replaced Kostyantyn Tereschenko. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cestarolli FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. André Cruz hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mykhaylo Schastlyvyi came free, but Laércio de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Cestarolli FC's Laércio de Almeida got control of the ball when Mykyta Gvozdevych tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Tony Ribeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leandro Linhares lost his temper 74 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Cestarolli FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Ruh Lviv:s goal. Laércio de Almeida made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Petro Dyachuk sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Laércio de Almeida successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Laércio de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mykhaylo Schastlyvyi in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Laércio de Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petro Dyachuk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pylyp Orel in the 96th minute of play forced Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Laércio de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Vasyl Shevel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over FC Ruh Lviv could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cestarolli FC throughout the match.
