The supporters of Berutti FC booed when Lengua de Lobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Harkaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Berutti FC's Clodoveo Mannie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rigoberto Rosario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rigoberto Rosario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Dantae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesar Matthew took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Rosario. Rigoberto Rosario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Domingo Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rigoberto Rosario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Mannie in the 26th minute of play forced Lengua de Lobo's goalkeeper Rigoberto Rosario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 27 minutes on the clock, Ovidio Flor commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Ovidio Flor kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Clodoveo Mannie sped through Lengua de Lobo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rigoberto Rosario. Tadeo Sal's late challenge caught a Lengua de Lobo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeo Sal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, one of Berutti FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Berutti FC. After 40 minutes of play, Lengua de Lobo's Constantino Cebo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustacio Piearres was left in no man's land by his defense there! Berutti FC's Jaime Dantae got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clodoveo Mannie made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Lengua de Lobo's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Vachon came free, but Rigoberto Rosario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Ascencio struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Rigoberto Rosario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berutti FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Dantae in the 56th minute of play forced Lengua de Lobo's goalkeeper Rigoberto Rosario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Jaime Dantae had to leave the field with a concussion. After a rather tough play, Lengua de Lobo's Constantino Cebo got a free kick in the 69th minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Clodoveo Mannie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berutti FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clodoveo Mannie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Ascencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rigoberto Rosario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute of the match, Clodoveo Mannie got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rigoberto Rosario was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eustacio Piearres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Harkaitz in the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lengua de Lobo's Osvaldo Nerio got a free kick in the 93rd minute. With his leg Rigoberto Rosario managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Berutti FC's Clodoveo Mannie fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Faustino Harkaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
