Spectators: 7538 (Terracing: 5655, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dinei Goiano took the kick off in the first half of the match. Naldo Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Ricoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Eutropio Toxeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Couto in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Prospero Solana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Naldo Mello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iamín Cabanela's late challenge caught a Wambalamba FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iamín Cabanela helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Riemannian getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Iamín Cabanela hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, Adhemar da Fonseca notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Riemannian's Eutropio Toxeiro. Eutropio Toxeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Belmiro Cerezo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Dinei Goiano took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eutropio Toxeiro. Eutropio Toxeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 34th minute of the match, Genaro Ricoy tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Naldo Mello saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eutropio Toxeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinei Goiano in the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Segundo Sauca in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naldo Mello saved Wambalamba FC from getting behind. Naldo Mello made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Prospero Solana sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Wambalamba FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd match minute, Wambalamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmir de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Ovidio Macho, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 57th minute, Hector-Luis Baeza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Naldo Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector-Luis Baeza, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Dinei Goiano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Eutropio Toxeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Riemannian's Segundo Sauca got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Riemannian's zone, Adhemar da Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eutropio Toxeiro came out of the goal and Adhemar da Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eutropio Toxeiro was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Adhemar da Fonseca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adhemar da Fonseca really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Dinei Goiano struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Eutropio Toxeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wambalamba FC. After a rather tough play, Riemannian's Segundo Sauca got a free kick in the 79th minute. Wambalamba FC's Naldo Mello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Aballe in the 87th minute of play. Naldo Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Solana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinei Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Eutropio Toxeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinei Goiano in the 93rd minute of play forced Riemannian's goalkeeper Eutropio Toxeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinei Goianos short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Eutropio Toxeiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Wambalamba FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
