Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) 3 minutes into the match, Dinei Goiano notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Desportivo Coala's Betão Pirani. Betão Pirani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 9 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coala's goal looked a bit too open when Hamílton Campidelis came free, but Betão Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hamílton Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Messias charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrique Messias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Enrique Messias hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Betão Pirani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hamílton Campidelis in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Desportivo Coala's zone, Adhemar da Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão Pirani came out of the goal and Adhemar da Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th match minute, Wambalamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinei Goiano to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dinei Goiano made the kick off in the second half. Betão Pirani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dinei Goiano's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Enrique Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desportivo Coala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Messias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Júlio Berger hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The supporters of Desportivo Coala booed when Wambalamba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Desportivo Coala's Guilherme Hermes got a free kick in the 75th minute. Dinei Goiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Betão Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar da Fonseca in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Dinei Goiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Tiago Gabriel Pena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wambalamba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Desportivo Coala the free kick. In the 80th match minute, Wambalamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gabriel Pena to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinei Goiano in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Betão Pirani saved Desportivo Coala from getting behind. Betão Pirani came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Wambalamba FC's Adhemar da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Adhemar da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Adhemar da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Betão Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamílton Campidelis in the 91st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dinei Goiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betão Pirani was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Desportivo Coala's Betão Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar da Fonseca in the 95th minute of play. Wambalamba FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
