Ingvar Bourdette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Trigo in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Rägi's Jirko Cotti got a free kick in the 19th minute. Gian Huerliman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Trigo in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingvar Bourdette prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gian Huerliman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kaká Maia having to make a save. Gian Huerliman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, FC Rägi's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Trigo came free, but Ingvar Bourdette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Pindobassu EC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

FC Rägi made a substitution. Harry Catalusci replaced Roy Nussbaum. FC Rägi's Salomone Fräfel was substituted for Jirko Cotti. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andor Witzig made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Heinrich Schwarz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaká Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andor Witzig in the 77th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andor Witzig in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaká Maia saved Pindobassu EC from getting behind. Pindobassu EC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
