Spectators: 7482 (Terracing: 5613, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ferruccio Cordone started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Sorci Viola getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ferruccio Cordone hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Dennis Calcio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andor Witzig. In the 19th match minute, FC Rägi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tizian Figini to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Andor Witzig took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dennis Calcio to make any attempt to save it. FC Rägi's Vittoriano Beaulé was substituted for Luciano Decimo. Ingvar Bourdette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferruccio Cordone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When FC Rägi's Andor Witzig in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sorci Viola's goalie prevented a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

FC Rägi made a substitution. Harry Catalusci replaced Jirko Cotti. The wind increased when Andor Witzig made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Rägi booed when Sorci Viola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Chioda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gian Huerliman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Calcio having to interfere. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Andor Witzig sped through Sorci Viola's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dennis Calcio. In the 67thth minute of the game Andor Witzig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sorci Viola's Dennis Calcio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When FC Rägi's Andor Witzig in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sorci Viola's goalie prevented a goal. In the 69th match minute, Sorci Viola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Sciarretta to maneuver through the defense. Joao Zuelle kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Andor Witzig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dennis Calcio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tizian Figini during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in FC Rägi's zone, Cesare Gulli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingvar Bourdette came out of the goal and Cesare Gulli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tizian Figini, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Claudio Cicchetti fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sorci Viola's protests and gave Claudio Cicchetti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute Fortunato Pizziolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Bourdette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Rägi's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
