Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Prudencio Vedillo started the match with the kick off. Rene Goren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Trigo in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to chacarita juniors getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Siro Oihan hit a great ball. With a little luck, Pindobassu EC's Kaká Maia got control of the ball when Prudencio Vedillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, chacarita juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Trigo came free, but Rene Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, chacarita juniors's Prudencio Vedillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kaká Maia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Prudencio Vedillo came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kaká Maia could save by the left post. 30 minutes into the match, chacarita juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Motta came free, but Rene Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, chacarita juniors's Siro Oihan got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Pindobassu EC's Miguel Trigo in 40 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rene Goren guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Miguel Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Goren having to interfere. Rene Goren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Rene Goren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Motta in the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Trigo to make the kick off. Pindobassu EC's Rubinho Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Pindobassu EC booed when chacarita juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Oihan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to chacarita juniors getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Siro Oihan hit a great ball. With a little luck, chacarita juniors's Rene Goren got control of the ball when Vladimir Motta tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 63 minutes, Zacarias Urtun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the chacarita juniors and the Pindobassu EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Pindobassu EC's Rubinho Miranda tried to score from far away in the 81st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Vladimir Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pindobassu EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Motta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Goren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Siro Oihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, chacarita juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Motta came free, but Rene Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The chacarita juniors players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
