Spectators: 7483 (Terracing: 5614, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) When Ferruccio Cordone came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Sorci Viola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio Cordone couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Sorci Viola's Ferruccio Cordone got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Armando Matteucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demy Krommert charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demy Krommert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Ferruccio Cordone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ferruccio Cordone scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kelvin Overmars, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Sorci Viola's Alex Fini got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 33rd minute Jouke Vaalman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Calcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudio Cicchetti kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Ferruccio Cordone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferruccio Cordone to make the kick off. When Jonathan Ieberink fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MK Investments's protests and gave Jonathan Ieberink a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferruccio Cordone in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kelvin Overmars prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kelvin Overmars made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Dionisi in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Jouke Vaalman managed to get in a good position for a shot. MK Investments's supporters rose to their feet, but Jouke Vaalman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Calcio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Jouke Vaalman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Calcio was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. If Ferruccio Cordone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to MK Investments getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Kristian van Dalen hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Ferruccio Cordone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sorci Viola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Fortunato Pizziolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortunato Pizziolo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Kelvin Overmars tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 played minutes MK Investments got a freekick which was hit by Govert Tinge. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sorci Viola walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
