Spectators: 7534 (Terracing: 5652, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andor Witzig started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Pindobassu EC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Vladimir Motta hit a great ball. A collision led to FC Rägi getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Detlev Caluzi hit a great ball. A collision led to Pindobassu EC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Miguel Trigo hit a great ball. FC Rägi's Andor Witzig got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ingvar Bourdette made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Vladimir Motta sent off a good shot on target. Ingvar Bourdette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pindobassu EC's goalkeeper Kaká Maia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miguel Trigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ingvar Bourdette made a huge save. Miguel Trigo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ingvar Bourdette. Ingvar Bourdette dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Afonsinho Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Ingvar Bourdette made a huge save. 40 minutes into the game, FC Rägi's Adolfo Buschor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kaká Maia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. FC Rägi's Adolfo Buschor got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Trigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ingvar Bourdette made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

FC Rägi made a substitution. Harry Catalusci replaced Jirko Cotti. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Trigo made a kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Norberto de Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pindobassu EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Rägi the free kick. When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, FC Rägi's Adolfo Buschor got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kaká Maia. Ingvar Bourdette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes FC Rägi got a freekick which was hit by Harry Catalusci. Andor Witzig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Dionísio in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Rägi's goalkeeper Ingvar Bourdette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 83 minutes, David Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pindobassu EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Dionísio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Tizian Figini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Rägi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pindobassu EC the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Rägi's Tizian Figini got a free kick in the 87th minute. FC Rägi's Ingvar Bourdette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Trigo in the 92nd minute of play. The FC Rägi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Rägi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
